A BIRD VIEW OF SUCCESSFUL STORY OF SWARNA          FOOTBALL ACADEMY

‘ Mandya’, the Sugarcity  of Karnataka  is well known for ‘ Sugarcane’, which is also recognised for its Football fame.  The  name and fame of Mandya is being uplifted by many  national and international players of Mandya. The great  heritage of football in Mandya is now being protected by the common minded people and  veteran players with the establishment of ‘ Swarna Football Academy’.
The above mentiioned is established with the support of local soccer fans of Swarnasandra and Arakeshwara  Nagar when their interest was kindled by the State Level Football Tournament, organised in 2001,.  The interest of the fans who gathered to watch matches held between  17th June to 1st July was observed by the District Football Coach ‘ Krishna’ who determined to provide a systematic coaching facilities to these young footballers. He dreamt about a well  organised and equipped. Academy  to do with the joint effort of veteran.  State football player B.Venkat, sports patrons like A.Nagaraju, K.N. Ravimanjesh, T. From 2001 onwards, for about 10 years. Our Academy is providing the best coaching for the interested, enthusiastic, young football players.  For about  80-90 high school going boys and about 30-40 pre university  and university Level teenage lads are getting match experience and sports  spirit oriented coaching. They are being divided into different groups and are put to play league matches  every sunday to get competitive  spirit and match experience. Milk, egg and  bananas are also being provided in conducive ocassions with the help of local patrons.
The main motto of our  Academy is to increase the interest on football, to provide  the young continuous technical training, to findout individual football  talent and to make  young acquire  the ability to participate in  state and  National Level  football tournaments.
